Visa International,
the world's leading credit card corporation, selected STS to manage
a transfer of control and administration for their primary global
data centers, from centralized operations at International Headquarters
to a regional system operated at various subsidiaries around the world.
The
result of this project was a transparent, widely acknowledged and
highly successful transfer of systems, data and IT operations. The
newly decentralized system allows Visa to stay nimble and responsive
to the market. Through a commitment to efficiency and excellence,
STS was able to assist in building a secure and stable system, all
the while mitigating IT risks and delivering well under Visa's initial
targeted budget.
STS
also provided a risk assessment and best practices report that was
instrumental in a number of follow on projects geared towards supporting
the ongoing interoperability of the Visa Data Center and Processing
environments. STS continues to provide project managers and subject
matter experts to support and maintain a number of the follow on
projects.
